Miles' Amazing Website
Hello, I am Miles, and I love the World Wide Web! I and some of my friends think the old web is cool. If you are tired of getting manipulated by Meta and X, but still want a place to express yourself online, maybe making your own website is the right choice for you. If its not, I hope you still enjoy reading about me and my interests :D
Credit to my friend ac2.no for getting me to finally set this up.
My Personal Infrastructure
One of my long term efforts is to slowly build up a set of objects that will last a long time and serve me wherever I go. Some of the following objects are a key part of my personal infrastructure, but in need of a better solution; some are high quality items I am really happy about having; and some lie somewhere in between.
The items:
- My trusty laptop (described in the next section)
- My phone, a TCL Classic 4G Flip Phone. It is the kind from AT&T that can call and text, and take shitty pictures, and not really much else. It does not support 2nd or 3rd party programs. It also does not take voice mails, which will probably be the thing that forces me to get a different cell phone.
- The broken in half Acer Aspire on my floor who's primary job is to run a signal CLI client that I am too lazy to move over to my new laptop
- A Vans backpack with a drawstring and plastic buckles. No zippers!
- An old leather wallet my dad gave me
- A cross-body bag from Frostriver Trading Company in Duluth (lifetime warranty included)
- A locally-milled wool throw (throw = a blanket that is person-sized, not bed-sized)
My Laptop
My daily carry laptop is a Lenovo T14s. Here is some of what's on it:
- Operating System: Fedora Linux
- Desktop Environment: KDE
- Code Editor: sublime-text (maybe vim someday)
- Browser: Librewolf
- Notetaking: Zettlr
- Music Player: Spotify Premium (Barf I know)
- Password Manager: KeepassXC
- Image Editor: GIMP
- Illustrator: Inkscape
Some neat articles and websites:
Have a nice day! └(^◡^)\
